General Manager Appointments Support Company Growth

Melbourne, 21st January 2013 – AMPR is excited to announce the appointment of long-term team members Brooke Shell and Karla Dawes as joint General Managers, working alongside Managing Director Sarah Gale to facilitate future growth for the company in 2013 and beyond.

Brooke has been with the company for over eight years, managing the highly successful Events team and working with some of the agency’s largest accounts including the L’Oréal Melbourne Fashion Festival, David Jones, Zara and the St Kilda Film Festival.

Karla leads the Consumer, Lifestyle and Fashion teams and has been instrumental in the strategic development and delivery of a broad range of campaigns across FMCG, fashion and lifestyle sectors for brands including Cadbury, Diesel, RAOUL and Forever New. She also plays an active role in new business development.

Together in their role as joint General Managers they will oversee the day-to-day running of the business, provide leadership and vision to the team, project management, external marketing communications and business development.

Their combined and specialist expertise has helped to deliver our vision to create an even better experience and greater range of services for our clients. It has been a successful 12 months for AMPR since the new partnership between Sarah Gale and Charlie Goldsmith (also Director of Cassette) was announced in November 2011. In a highly competitive market, AMPR has continued to rise above the rest with its strong strategic and digital credentials.

New accounts to the portfolio include Dulux, IGA Victoria, Puma, Alannah Hill, Jack London, Kraft Foods’ Cadbury Easter, Cadbury Christmas and Cadbury Smash for Cash, Fiat Chrysler Group, Dylan Kain, L’Oréal Paris, Hanes Brands and Cambur Australia. The team has also expanded to 15 with the recent addition of Kathryn Mclean as Account Coordinator, Charlotte Riggs as Account Manager and the continued support of Jessica White as Strategy Director.
