For the fourth consecutive year, Australia’s leading polo players returned to the field at Albert Park on Saturday, November 30, to play for a crowd of over 4000 guests at Paspaley Polo in the City and AMPR was thrilled to be a part of the action.
Captaining the Land Rover team, one of Australia’s polo elite, Ruki Baillieu returned to his hometown to compete head-to-head with Australia’s highest ranked professional player and Veuve Clicquot polo ambassador Rob Archibald.
Watching Archibald from the sidelines was fiancé Francesca Cumani as well as other special guests Jennifer Hawkins, Rebecca & Chris Judd, Scherri-Lee Biggs, Cindy Sargon, Sharon & Frank Van Haandel, Lauren Phillips, Natalie Decorte and many more.
The Woodford Reserve Pavilion was a buzz with signature cocktails; The Old Fashion, The Woodford Hook and the Kentucky Apple perfectly mixed with Woodford Reserve and served in the VIP marquee inspired by America’s deep south. Joining Alex Zabotto-Bentley, the design-force behind the pavilion, was celebrity guests Peter Siddle & Anna Weatherlake, Tom Hawkins & Emma Clapham, DJ Grant Smilie and Virgin Australia Melbourne Fashion Festival CEO Graeme Lewsey.
Guests from the Kirin Polo Lounge as well as the Corporate and VIP Marquees participated in the traditional men and women’s dash, a Fashions on the Field competition and the ceremonial divot stomps, throughout the day.
Congratulations to Polo Enterprises Australia for delivering another exceptional day!
We look forward to seeing you in 2014 to do it all again.
