There was no horsing around at the 2015 Land Rover Polo in the City, with over 3000 guests flocking to Albert Park for the annual event on November 28 to mark the 10th anniversary of the Urban Polo series.
The two matches, the Pro-Am Challenge and National Polo League, provided the opportunity for guests to witness the finest polo ponies and players in action from exclusive corporate and sponsor marquees or the Polo Lounge. The fortunate guests of the Air New Zealand VIP marquee were treated to a culinary indulgence with a specially crafted menu from Blakes Feast and Air New Zealand’s in flight consultant chef Peter Gordon. Meanwhile, the lavish Land Rover Marquee played host to a number of special guests including Land Rover Ambassador Rebecca Judd, The Bachelor’s Sam Wood and Nick & Rozalia Russian.
It was all about the fun and games at this year’s event, with the more adventurous guests putting their speed to the test in the traditional men and ladies 50-metre foot race. For the more fashion-focused, Melbourne’s most style savvy raised the stakes in Emporium Melbourne’s Fashions on the Field, with the lucky male and female winners walking away with a $1000 Emporium Melbourne voucher.
Providing the finest in sporting entertainment, hospitality and style, the 2015 Land Rover Polo in the City was a truly unmissable event.
