As the L’Oréal Melbourne Fashion Festival’s first lifestyle category partner, we worked with Dulux Australia in 2013 to launch two exciting partnerships with leading Australian designers Kirrily Johnston and Camilla Franks.
To explore the correlation between runway and interior trends, Dulux has designed four impeccable rooms, inspired by the Autumn Winter’ 13 Collections of the two designers which were both featured on this year’s L’Oréal Paris Runways. To view these rooms and for the chance to win a $5,000 Dulux Home Makeover, visit www.dulux.com.au.
Dulux had a strong presence throughout the L’Oréal Melbourne Fashion Festival by co-presenting one of its hero events, Windows by Design, and through an exciting and colorful on-site activation.
Windows by Design saw prominent Melbourne retailers transform their window displays, driven by local creatives, into art-installations. With the Dulux paint colour range acting as a springboard, the artists developed diverse installations to be showcased throughout the month of March. Windows by Design was launched on March 4, 2013 with the help of design talent Richard Nylon and Gwendolynne Burkin, the Dulux dog, LMFF CEO Graeme Lewsey and Lord Mayor Robert Doyle.
Throughout the Festival week, March 18-24, the Dulux dog visited Central Pier, Docklands to greet and have her picture taken with excitable runway guests. It was a pleasure to see the Dulux dog every evening as well as the three Dulux models that accompanied her.
Make sure you visit the Dulux Australia website to view behind the scenes of the room designs with video interviews with Camilla Franks and Kirrily Johnston.
