Last Thursday we officially helped launched YGAP’s 5cent Campaign to media and stakeholders at an exciting event at the iconic Shot Tower Square at Melbourne Central.
At the launch Elliot Costello, CEO and Co-Founder of YGAP, spoke about this year’s 5cent Campaign and ways Australians can get involved and help raise much-needed funds for youth education projects in Australia, Africa and Asia.
Elliot also announced the 2013 5cent ambassadors, which include Saints captain Nick Riewoldt, former Miss Universe Australia Scherri-Lee Biggs, MTV VJ Kate Peck and radio hosts Brig and Lehmo.
The launch generated key media coverage including in the Herald Sun and The Age. Elliot was also busy doing interviews with AM and FM radio stations nationally and also appeared on Channel 10’s The Project that evening which was so popular the 5cent website crashed!
Keep an eye out for more 5cent coverage over the next few weeks!
Also make sure you sign up to the 5cent Campaign at www.fivecent.com.au.
You can either sign up as an individual collection, a champion, or for the first time, the 5cent Pledge, where you agree to donate five cents from every dollar you earn in May.
