On Wednesday 13th February Sussan hosted an intimate dinner celebrating successful, likeminded women hosted by Lisa Messenger with panellists Abbey Gelmi (TV Sports Presenter), Elle Halliwell (Health Coach & Author) and Kirsten Pilatti (CEO of Breast Cancer Network Australia).

Guests included key female leaders in the industry including Bianca Chatifeld, Emma Davenport, Dr Chantel Thornton, Artist Meredith Gaston, Alice Zaslavsky, Anna Byrne, Emma Maidment and Yasmin Darwish.

The event fell in line with Sussan’s new brand direction ‘Only for Women’ being led, designed and made for women, encouraging conversation around women, supporting women.

David Jones AW19 Season Launch - Runway Show

AMPR were honoured to work alongside the David Jones team on ‘The Art of Living’ AW’19 Season Launch in Tasmania on Tuesday 5th and Wednesday 6th February 2019.

Guests were treated to an incredible two-day immersive experience at MONA in Hobart, including a lunch at The Source, evening runway show in The Void and wellness breakfast/Q&A with Teresa Palmer, showcasing the best of new season products across fashion, food, beauty and home.

Perth-born international supermodel, Gemma Ward and actor and MTV Presenter, Cameron Robbie joined David Jones Ambassadors Jessica Gomes and Victoria Lee on the runway, presenting the very best of Australian designers and leading international brands.

A strong injection of colour and prints featured heavily in the show, translating beautifully across all of the department stores categories. Rich burgundies, muted blues and warm neutrals were welcomed, departing from a traditionally darker palette seen in Autumn Winter.

A truly incredible display of creative innovation and inspiration by an Australian retail icon.

AMPR was thrilled to work with Mercedes-me to showcase their exclusive Stars & Cars exhibition at the Mercedes-me Melbourne store and surrounding precinct.

On Monday November 26th, Mercedes-me hosted an intimate sit-down brunch for key media and influencers to unveil the exhibition and preview the specially curated menu for the exhibition period by St Ali Group. Illustrator Mads Francis was also on hand to sketch guests next to the show-stopping vehicles.

Key guests included Jane Rocca, Dalton Graham, Khanh Ong, Alexia Petsinis, Barb Licuria and Laurina Fleur.

Following the brunch, Mercedes-me invited 200 guests to attend a VIP cocktail event on Friday November 30th, hosted by Brodie Harper. Guests were treated to custom cocktails, champagne tower by GH Mumm, oyster shucking station and gourmet canapes while enjoying a performance by songstress Odette and exploring the exhibition.

AMPR was proud to again deliver a successful 2018 Stella Artois Caulfield Cup Carnival campaign with the Melbourne Racing Club.

The campaign began with a celebration of the release of the 2018 Caulfield Cup Carnival Early Bird Ticket Sales where the Melbourne Racing Club hosted a Media Famil in Malibu in May, with international and Australian VIP guests such as Renee Bargh. Natalie Roser, Jason Dundas, Kassandra Clementi and Tamin Sursock and key Australian Media.

Leading up to the highly anticipated October race days, AMPR rolled out a carefully considered PR strategy to secure print, online, social and broadcast coverage through assigning relevant ambassadors and crafting news angles.  

Celebrities engaged for the 2018 Stella Artois Caulfield Cup Carnival included Malibu local and celebrity hat maker Nick Fouquet, Australian international model Jess Hart, AFLW glamour couple Moana Hope & Bella Carlstrom, lifestyle influencer and entrepreneur Lindy Rama-Ellis and stylist Rebecca James.

In December, 2018, AMPR with the Virgin Australia Melbourne Fashion Festival revealed the Festival’s 2019 program with a reception at Government House, hosted by Her Excellency, the Honourable Linda Dessau AC Governor of Victoria.

A selection of special guests joined the Governor and Festival representatives, including Charman David Briskin and CEO Graeme Lewsey to celebrate the year that was, and look forward to this year’s Festival, set to empower the fashion dreamers.

Special guests included the likes of designers Yeojin Bae, Dom Bagnato, Lisa Gorman, Margie Woods, Kit Willow, Bianca Spender and Helen O’Connor as well as friends of the Festival Nadia Bartel, Yan Yan Chan, Miranda Tapsel, Lana Wilkinson, Rebecca James, Ksenija Lukich, and many more.

The Virgin Australia Melbourne Fashion Festival is Australia’s largest fashion event, running from 1 to 10 March 2019.

Forever New was thrilled to be the female fashion partner of the Alfa Romeo Portsea Polo for the second year in a row.

On Saturday 12th January, Forever New hosted influencers, media and executives for a day full of celebrations in their Amalfi themed marquee.  

We were excited to have Rozalia Russian on board as the face of the Forever New Portsea Polo where she acted as the fashion ambassador and helped judge Fashion on the Fields with Managing Director, Carolyn Murphy.

Special guests included Rebecca Harding, Charlotte Ennels and Saasha Burns who alongside Rozalia showcased Forever New’s upcoming collection.

Once again, AMPR partnered with the Urban Polo Association for the 2018 Land Rover Polo in the City series. Australia’s must-attend polo event of the summer calendar, Land Rover Polo in the City began in Sydney before coming to Melbourne on Saturday 1st December and Perth on Saturday 8th December 2018. The Melbourne event saw over 3,500 guests including special guests Land Rover Melbourne City Ambassador Rebecca Judd, Fashion Stylist Lana Wilkinson, Chadstone Fashion Ambassador Mia Fevola and AFL star Daniel Rioli.

Guests soaked up the sunshine on the first day of summer while enjoying two thrilling spectator Urban Polo matches featuring some of Australia’s favourite polo players including Ric McCarthy and Ed Mandie. Crowds in the Somersby Polo Lounge rocked out to popular Australian singer Chloe Maggs before taking to the field for the Kangaru Energy Drink Men and Women’s dash (a 50-meter foot race) and the Review Divot Stomp.

AMPR was tasked to drive awareness and drive ticket sales for the Land Rover Polo in the City series, specifically in Melbourne and Perth. We successfully secured meaningful coverage for the event and its sponsors in the lead up to, during and after the events across traditional and social media that spoke to the unique offering of the event, the rise of the business and impact of the series to the local industry. As well as this, we worked alongside partners to ensure a strong guest list of influential and celebrity faces in attendance.

The NGV Gala, held on the 1st December 2018 has been referred to as Australia’s answer to the Met Gala. International celebrities including Natalie Portman, Poppy Delevingne and Troye Sivan walked the David Jones Red Carpet with Troye Sivan delighting guests with a 40-minute performance. Australian celebrities such as Daniel MacPherson, Nadia Fairfax, Olympia Valance, Tessa James and Kate Waterhouse attended the spectacular Gala event.
