With a busy year ahead hosting events across Melbourne, Sydney and Auckland, we wanted to give you a behind the scenes look at how we bring these exciting events to life.
Here at AMPR we love an early morning flight, with the team arriving at the airport bright and early to travel to Sydney.
Most of us had already been up for 4 hours at this stage, however we were excited to be in sunny Sydney and set up for our busy few days ahead.
With our AMPR team spread across Melbourne, Sydney, Brisbane and the Gold Coast, we are always excited to travel and have the chance to work face-to-face with our interstate colleagues.
This year we held our AMPR Sydney Open House at a beautiful new space called Rainbow Studios. Preparation is key with any event so naturally we spent the morning packing, steaming and styling product, ensuring we were ready to go when we arrived at the venue.
We arrived at the gorgeous showroom space in Darlinghurst and commenced our bump in. This is always a big task, but many hands make light work and we were all excited to see it come together in the new space. We spent the afternoon visual merchandising the displays, ensuring our client collections looked pristine and ready for the big few days ahead!
After a long day of travel and bump in, we headed to a well-deserved team dinner at Matteo in Double Bay. It’s so nice to have the opportunity to spend quality time together and catch up outside work. Just quietly, if you are heading to Matteo, you must try the Spicy Vodka Pasta! Then it was off to our hotel for some much-needed beauty sleep ahead of event day.
Our AMPR Open House events give us the chance to meet with press face to face and build strong industry relationships, whilst getting our client product in front of the right people.
We spent the morning greeting our guests, showing them through our client collections and discussing potential opportunities for collaboration in 2023. With over 150 confirmed attendees, it was always going to be a busy morning and it certainly lived up to the hype.
Various key media filtered through during the day, with our team taking the opportunity to discuss upcoming projects and how we can best work with them to connect our brands. Our AMPR Open House events give us the chance to meet with press face to face and build strong industry relationships, whilst getting our client product in front of the right people.
Cocktail hour is a new inclusion to our Open Houses, where key press and talent are invited to join us for an afternoon of cocktails and networking! The vibes in the room were great as guests sipped margaritas and browsed through our client’s upcoming Autumn Winter collections.
Our first day was a huge success and it is always lovely to see some familiar faces, however after a long day of mingling, the team finished up and headed back to the hotel for some much-needed rest (and to answer some emails of course).
